Thanks, Jim.

What Jim doesn't note is that he's been hassling me to blog my hacks for years. He actually used the phrase "pay it forward" in this context. Who knew that the proprietor of such a house of noir worship as BavaTuesdays was so attracted to the rhetoric of a Kevin Spacey, Helen Hunt, Haley Joel Osment schmaltz-fest?

Nevertheless... Jim's our model for this stuff... there's a reason he's keynoting the first conference devoted to uses of WordPress in education. We're all riding his wave.

Great work on the re-design, and your point about modeling such a framework for CUNY is extremely important given how the largest and most diverse public institution in the US is woefully behind the curve when it comes to any and all of this stuff. You provide an unbelievably powerful example, so good on you.

Moreover, this post in general just brings a huge smile to my face, welcome to the work of hack/tech blogging. Keep your history druthers, but this is the kind of sharing that can alter the digital landscape of CUNY. You rule!
