		<description>Great series of posts, Luke, and this one is especially interesting-- intrepid is right.  Your suggestion that these multimedia assignments increase student engagement is no doubt evidenced in these (amazing) videos.  

Maybe it&#039;s just that I&#039;m creating final grades as we speak, but I&#039;d love some more nitty gritty assessment details; if these pod/vodcasts were not a substitute for more critical engagement, how were they weighted within the overall course? These two videos seem to have taken up a good chunk of student time and energy; did they slide right alongside all of the other projects and assignments, or did the profs need to sacrifice anything to squeeze these in?</description>
