		<description>Thanks for the comment, Linell! Brewster&#039;s approach is a really strong one, and I plan to steal it as well. Many of the accounting students I&#039;ve met who have already had experiences interning or working in accounting firms seem to absolutely recognize the value in the project much more than others.</description>

Lem Brewster, who teachers in the communications studies department and also in media relations, tells his students that in work, they&#039;ll likely be asked to give quick status reports, summarizing their progress on a project. He says it is important that these presentations be poised, concise, engaging--that managers judge a lot about employees by these quick, semi-formal presentations. I totally stole this from him, and repeated it to every class since then.</description>
